Reserving Your Hotel Room

All Hotels rooms for the 2011 Conference should be booked directly through the Hotel website or by calling the hotel directly or on the toll free numbers listed for each hotel. Each hotel will require a one-night refundable deposit to confirm reservation (see hotel's cancellation policy for details on refunds).

Shuttle Transportation

Complimentary daily shuttle service will be provided between the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hawaii Prince Hotel, and the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel to/from the Hawaii Convention Center. Service will begin operating on Wednesday, March 30, and continue during all official conference functions through closing on Sunday, April 3.

Arrival/Departure Dates

If you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will consider you a No Show. This will result in a charge of one night’s room stay and tax. Your hotel reservation will be cancelled for your entire stay.


You must call your hotel directly to cancel your reservations. The Association for Asian Studies and ICAS can not accept nor cancel individual hotel reservations. This is the sole responsibility of the conference attendee. Please note that each hotel has a different cancellation policy. Please read each policy carefully.


General questions regarding your hotel should be directed to the Hotel. The AAS will make every effort to post important information regarding hotels as it relates to the annual conference but individuals should call the hotel directly for general questions regarding the property.
